This March, we're aiming to raise dollars to continue to provide free art classes, workshops, exhibitions, and art supplies. The Phoenix Art Gala will have a silent auction showcasing the talented work of our members and raising awareness about our services. These opportunities help participants express and externalize their personal struggles with behavioral health issues. Many participants find it much easier to express themselves artistically rather than verbally (such as in group discussions). They create art to tell their story, promoting healing in themselves and understanding in the community. Much of the art is very high‐quality and has the power to change perceptions in the community.

HAPI's Phoenix Art Gala gives an opportunity to our artists to display and sell their work. When artworks are sold, 60% of the price goes to the artists and 40% goes to HAPI to help with the cost of the event, art classes, and supplies.
